Privacy Policy

Short version: no accounts, nothing sold or shared with advertisers, and you can have anything we hold deleted by asking.

The Nest Haul is operated from Canada. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA) and anti-spam law (CASL).

What we collect, and why

Server logs. Standard access logs (page requested, time, browser type, IP address) — used only to see which pages are useful and to keep the site secure. Kept 30 days.

Saved lists. If you build a list, we store the answers you tapped and the products chosen, at a private link. No name or account needed. If you share the link, anyone with it can see the list and mark items as bought — a first name only, if they choose to add one.

We don't collect email addresses. There is no signup and no newsletter on this site today. If that changes, this page changes with it before any form appears.

The assistant. Questions you type go to our server and to Anthropic's Claude API to generate an answer. Please don't type anything sensitive. We don't build a profile of you.

What we never do

We don't sell, rent or share your information. We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. We don't require an account.

Outbound links. Links to Amazon tell Amazon the visit came from us; Amazon's own privacy policy governs everything that happens once you're there.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including your saved lists. We'll action it within 30 days. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and always within 10 business days, as CASL requires.
